4 slices raw bacon - chopped 1 pound fresh asparagus 4 cloves garlic - minced 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley salt and pepper - to taste
In a sauté pan over medium heat, fry bacon for 2 minutes. Break tough ends off asparagus and add to pan, along with garlic and parsley; cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes, or until asparagus is tender. Season with salt and pepper.
