2 tablespoons olive oil 2 cups chopped onions 2 tablespoons minced garlic 3 tablespoons tomato paste 1 pound beef, in 1 inch cubes 1/4 teaspoon caraway seed 1 teaspoon paprika 6 cups beef stock 1 cup potato, peeled and cubes salt pepper
Heat oil. Saute onions until translucent. Add beef and cook until browned on all sides. Add garlic, and tomato paste. Cook for 10 minutes. Add caraway seeds, paprika, and stock. Simmer for about 1 1/4 hour. Add potatoes and continue simmering until meat and potatoes are tender.
Season with sea salt and pepper to taste.
