1 lb ground chuck 1 can whole kernal corn, drained 1 can stewed tomatoes, drained 1 can golden mushroom soup 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers 1/4 cup chopped onions 1 tablespoon A-1 sauce 12 slices American cheese Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a skillet, brown ground chuck, onions and bell peppers. Strain and rinse with hot water. Pour meat mixture in pot, add corn, tomatoes, soup and A-1 sauce then mix well. In a casserole dish, pour meat mixture and spread evenly in pan. On top of mixture lay slices of cheese. Bake about 30 minutes or until brown around edges. Notes: This can be served with garlic toast, and a small salad. Can be made in advance and frozen.
