a quick version of black forest cake
1 package chocolate cake mix 1 can cherry pie filling 1 1/2 pint whipping (whipped and sweetened) maraschino cherries chocolate sprinkles brandy - optional
Bake cake according to directions ~ for 2 8 inch round cakes. Cool, completely, and cut each round in half so you have 4 round cakes. Sprinkle each round with brandy if you like. Place one round down, and spread with cherry pie filling. Place the next round down and cover with whip cream. Next round and cover with more cherry pie filling. Next round and ice with the rest of the whipped cream. Decorate with left over pie filling, or jut the cherries and sprinkles.
